Paris has found her forever home.
After about two weeks of being back at the humane-society, a Pit-loving person decided to adopt our cherie, Paris. The lady is a dog-groomer so she can take Paris to work with her which is great. I am sure she will have a great life with her, Paris adapts so greatly to everyone.
Anooks' mother Calispo, has also been adopted. A nice couple that already had a dog walked out with her when we dropped off Calipso. It's great to see that she didn't have to spend much more time in the shelter after being passed around quite a bit at the SPCA in Quebec.
However everyone in Toronto please keep in mind that Polly (Dog n.3) is still waiting for adoption. If you know anyone that is experienced with dogs and wants an energetic dog, tell them to check here and they can see Polly.
Please remember: Before you buy a dog from a breeder, consider adopting one. They are not all aggressive dogs with horrible histories, as a lot of people seem to think ! A lot of the dogs had to be given up by their owners because they couldn't afford it any more. They have been treated greatly so far, and a lot of them are just really, really nice dogs to have, whose owners suffered bad fates having to give up their best friends. Those dogs deserve nothing but the best. If you can give it to them, consider getting a dog from the SPCA or humane society in your city :).
